Tatra Fest Run is a mountain running series held in Zakopane, Poland, near the Tatra Mountains. The main 68 km race begins and ends at GuguPark Zakopane, featuring 5,000 m of elevation gain and limited to 350 participants. The event spans a Saturday-Sunday weekend and includes multiple race distances, ranging from a short, steep Verticale to 11 km and 22 km courses around Zakopane and its surrounding trails.
The 68 km course follows Tatra mountain trails, intended for runners experienced with extended climbs, technical terrain, and precise time limits. Aid stations are positioned high on the route at Kasprowy Wierch, Hala Ornak, and Polana Chochołowska. Participants will pass through Polana Chochołowska twice before heading back towards GuguPark near the finish. The cut-off times dictate the race progression: runners must pass Kasprowy Wierch early, reach Hala Ornak by midday, be at Polana Chochołowska in the afternoon, and complete the race by nightfall.
