Julita Duathlon

Julita Duathlon is a run-bike-run race held at Julita Gård in Sörmland, near Katrineholm, Sweden. The format is simple: 5 km running, 30 km cycling on public roads with drafting prohibited, and a final 5 km run. The race takes place in October and is linked to Julita Loppet, a larger local event featuring running races, relays, and public activities at the same location. The course begins in Julita, using the Julita Gård estate as the starting point. The cycling leg extends onto open roads before participants return for the final run. Julita GoIF organizes the championship race with Julita Gård and the Nordic Museum, and it will host Sweden's national duathlon championship. Originally a friendly challenge, the event later introduced formal categories like women's sprint, women's open, men's sprint, and men's open as participation increased.
