Österlen Spring Trail is a trail running event held in Andrarum, Skåne County, southern Sweden, with the next edition planned for mid-April. Participants can select from 22 km, 30 km, or 60 km distances, offering a range from a substantial day on trails to an ultra-distance challenge. The 60 km, known as Simris Alg Ultra, features 1,140 metres of elevation gain. The 30 km Duo Trail 2 x 30 Km has 500 metres of climbing and is the most frequently chosen distance. The shorter Teleservice trail 21 Km is listed as 22 km with 380 metres of climbing.
The routes traverse forest and open terrain in the Österlen region, near the coast, providing a blend of inland paths and seaside scenery, distinct from a road race. The 60 km race had over 200 participants in its last running, and the 30 km saw more than 400, indicating the middle distance is the primary attraction. The events are included in the UTMB Index, relevant for runners accumulating index points for future trail and ultra race qualifications.
