Skrylle Challenge

The Skrylle Challenge begins and ends at Skryllegården within Skrylle Nature Reserve, located near Södra Sandby in southern Sweden. This trail race, organized by Björnstorps IF, takes place in October. Adult participants can select either a 12.5 km single lap or a 25 km double lap. Additionally, a 600 m children's race is part of the event, making it suitable for more than just seasoned trail runners. The course follows a lap format on forest trails in central Skåne. The organizers intend for the route to be more trail-oriented than in previous years. Participants may opt for the shorter loop or complete it twice for the longer distance. The 25 km race is a component of the Skåne Trail Cup. This event also serves as the venue for the Skåne Championships in trail running, expected to attract competitive regional athletes in addition to club members, recreational trail runners, and families participating in the children's race.
