Yxbacken Extreme Challenge by E2C

The Yxbacken Extreme Challenge, organized by E2C, is a 7 km trail race held on Yxbacken, Norrköping's ski slope in Östergötland, Sweden. Rather than roads or a flat loop, it directs participants up and around the slalom hill. Recent editions have featured five demanding laps on the slope. The format is straightforward: ascend, descend, repeat, managing the exertion characteristic of a ski hill in its snow-free, running state. The event targets competitive runners seeking a brief yet rigorous hill challenge. A separate children's race accommodates families. E2C serves as the title partner, and the event incorporates children's activities post-race. Awards and photo sessions conclude the day, which is structured around the main competition and its accompanying community elements.
