Draždiak run

Draždiak Run is a charity race held at Veľký Draždiak lake in Bratislava’s Petržalka district. The start and finish are located by the beach near Barracuda. The main event is a flat 5 km run, complemented by a 5 km Nordic Walking race, children’s races categorized by age group, and a family run that permits dogs. The 5 km course consists of three laps along the paths bordering Veľký Draždiak and extending through the adjacent Zelený háj park. It features no elevation gain and incorporates a blend of asphalt, gravel, and some grassy sections, presenting a relaxed lakeside loop rather than a demanding road-racing challenge. Športová Nadácia KOTRMELEC organizes the event. All finishers are awarded a diploma and a medal, while the top male and female participants in the overall race receive trophies and material prizes.
