EMC DAM to DSM 2027

EMC DAM to DSM is a 13.1-mile half marathon in central Iowa, run point-to-point from Saylorville Dam into downtown Des Moines. It is usually held in early summer and follows a local tradition dating back 45 years. The route begins at the dam, passes through cornfields and farmland, then enters the neighborhoods of North Des Moines before finishing at Cowles Commons in the city center. Runners experience a rural-to-urban course linking a major area landmark with downtown Des Moines.
