Get Your Butt Kicked @ Route 66 is a timed loop ultra at Route 66 State Park, east of Eureka, Missouri. Runners select a 3-hour or 6-hour format and cover as much distance as possible before time expires. It is an uncommon July ultra, so heat and steady pacing are expected, and the race name accurately reflects the challenge.
The main loop measures 2.425 miles through the wooded northwest section of the park. A 0.333-mile short loop is used near the finish, allowing runners to add distance without beginning another full lap. The path is wide and generally firm, combining thin pavement, chip-and-seal, and fine gravel. The route crosses shaded woodland alongside the Meramec River, lending the race a more trail-like character than a road loop while maintaining simple footing for repeated laps.
