Move Together Hartford 2026

Move Together Hartford features a 5K race in Hartford’s historic Keney Park, alongside a 1-mile run/walk on the same morning for those seeking a shorter option. The event begins at 9 a.m. and is designed for all ages, abilities, and fitness levels, presenting itself as a community fitness day rather than a race exclusively for runners. The start area is located near the Woodland Street entrance, off Greenfield Street, within a park frequently referred to as the “Jewel of the City” and recognized as one of the largest designed park landscapes in the U.S. The Urban League of Greater Hartford and Hartford Marathon Foundation are the organizers, with RTX–Pratt & Whitney as the presenting sponsor. The day also includes a free FitKids fun run, awards, the Earl Exum Award which honors the former Pratt & Whitney executive and Urban League board member, and a Movement Festival offering live entertainment, food, fresh produce distribution, and health information.
