Bondi Pavilion serves as the start for The Johnson & Johnson Bondi to Manly Ultra, a point-to-point run following the Bondi to Manly walking track. The course offers an urban ultra feel with beach air, hard surfaces, exposed headlands, and the extended stretch from Bondi Beach towards Manly Beach. The route prioritizes the "stunning coastline" over comfort.
The initial section provides "breathtaking cliff-top views" towards Watsons Bay, with subsequent sections demanding effort. The course continues along the harbour foreshore, passing through national parks and by "iconic landmarks and cultural sites," concluding at Manly Beach.
