Sobre esta carrera
The Schwindegger VR-Bank 6h-Lauf is a six-hour ultrarun held in Schwindegg, Germany. It takes place in autumn on a loop slightly over 1.5 kilometers long. This race serves as the German DUV Championship for the six-hour distance. Championship participants require a DLV start pass, but a separate open race is available for those not competing in the championship. The relay option has been removed to maintain focus on the championship field.
The course is designed for consistent running, primarily on asphalt and noted for its speed. It has been re-measured to comply with IAU standards, with an IAU Bronze Label anticipated before the final course profile is released. The event also contributes to the DUV Cup, attracting German ultrarunners aiming for championship and cup standings. Its recent history features two age-group records, established by Anja Kobs and Harald Barnickel. Additionally, each entry includes a 10 euro donation to the BALU children's cancer charity.
