Brunsberglauf Buchholz 2026

The Brunsberglauf begins and ends at Jungfernstieg by Sportplatz Mühlenschule in Buchholz/Holm-Seppensen, located in Buchholz in der Nordheide, northern Germany. This local running event features children’s races ranging from 300 m to 2.5 km, a 5 km family run, an 11.7 km main run, and a half marathon. The longer races are open to participants from youth age and older. The course is described as a flat, one-lap loop. The event also accommodates walking and Nordic walking for the 5 km and 11.7 km distances. Teams of at least four are eligible for scoring in these events, and younger children have separate starts prior to the main field. This marks the 15th Brunsberglauf. The competition office provides Volkslaufstempel and Laufpass stamps for the Heidjer-Cup. Support for the route and first aid is provided by police, course marshals, bicycle escorts, and DLRG Buchholz.
