Sobre esta carrera
The Hachede Triathlon takes place at Menzer-Werft-Platz on the shipyard grounds in Geesthacht, Schleswig-Holstein. The start, finish, and transition area are located close together. This event is part of the PALM SERIE, and finishers receive a PALM medal. The race includes multiple formats, ranging from shorter distances like XS, Supertriathlon, and Volkstriathlon to S, M, and Olympic distances. The M distance consists of a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run, while the S distance involves a 750 m swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run.
The swim occurs in the harbor, followed by a swift transition to the bike and run courses, keeping the event contained and straightforward. The bike course consists of 10 km road laps, and the run is comprised of 2.4 km laps completed counter-clockwise before returning to Menzer-Werft-Platz. Participants include everyday entrants, age-group racers, and relay teams competing together, not solely elite athletes. DLRG crews provide support for the swim section, and participants may borrow RESTUBE Active inflatable safety buoys while supplies last. Registration begins in mid-January.
