Remstal Marathon 2014 2026

The 1st Sparkassen Remstal Marathon 2014 took place from Waiblingen to Schwäbisch Gmünd. Participants from ASV Schlichten competed in various distances. Siggi Stürner completed the full marathon of 42 km in 03:21:13, securing 24th place overall and 2nd in the M50 age group. Jana Hees and Fabian Rapp ran the half marathon from Waiblingen to Urbach. Jana Hees finished in 01:51:07, placing 42nd among women and 10th in her age group. Fabian Rapp completed the half marathon in 01:44:11, ranking 122nd among men and 21st in his age group. The women's marathon relay team, consisting of Angela Hees, Christa Reinle, Margit Schlotz, Susanne Nowitzki-Grimm, Helga Gerhardt, and Sina Gerhardt, finished the 42 km in 04:12:53, placing 80th overall and achieving an excellent 2nd place in the women's relay category. The club chairman, Udo Issler, expressed his satisfaction with the strong turnout and performance of the ASV runners at this local event.
