Treille en Côte Roannaise 2026

La Treille en Côte Roannaise is an October trail-running series in the Loire, set in the wine villages between Ambierle and Villemontais. Distances range from a 9 km option to a 44-46 km relay trail, allowing participants to select a manageable run or a full day in the hills. Though a recent event, it attracts over a hundred teams, primarily through its relay format, with additional team options available. The course crosses vineyard tracks, forest sections, and nature paths across the Côte Roannaise, a hillside wine region approximately 20 km long with AOC status since 1994. Local wine producers participate via Vignoble en scène, contributing to the finish atmosphere: live music, an aperitif, food, and a wine bar for participants and spectators. The organizing club, AMAR, established in 1984, has over 200 members involved in running, trail running, Nordic walking, hiking, youth athletics, and cycling.
