Run Northumberland Rothbury 10k 2026

The Run Northumberland Rothbury Winter 10k is a certified 10 km road race held in Rothbury, with a field limited to 300 participants. This winter event is open to runners aged 15 and up, featuring chip timing, kilometre markers, traffic-free roads managed by marshals, and a 5 km water station. The course begins at the Middle School, descending for the initial mile before proceeding along Whitton Bank Road to Carterside Road, then turning back before Little Tosson. The finish line is at Riverside Park, which also houses race headquarters and the bag drop. The route is undulating, offering variations in pace rather than a flat profile, making it suitable for runners seeking a challenging 10k road race. All finishers will receive a medal. Vouchers will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers, with veteran prizes available if entry numbers permit, and team prizes awarded according to club vest and team-size regulations.
