Toyama Time Trial is a September track meet held at the athletics stadium within Sports and Health Forest Park in Namerikawa City, Toyama Prefecture. The event focuses on standard track distances: 1000m, 1500m, 3000m, and 5000m. Participants include elementary school runners, junior and senior high school students, citizen runners, novice track racers, and more experienced athletes, all competing on the same program. The race takes place entirely on the track, allowing runners to select a distance suited to their abilities. General entry fees are 1,500 yen, with reduced rates for junior and senior high school students at 1,000 yen, and for elementary school students in the 1000m race at 500 yen. Feedback suggests a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. One participant returns annually for the 5000m, and another mentioned that the 1500m has no time limit, differentiating it from the 3000m and 5000m and making it suitable for those uncertain of their running pace.
