Coupe du Japon福島檜山高原 2026

Coupe du Japon Fukushima Hiyama Kogen is a mountain bike race in Tamura City, Fukushima Prefecture, held on a special course at Hiyama Kogen in July. It is part of the Coupe du Japon MTB series, placing it on Japan’s national-level mountain bike calendar. The format is XCO, cross-country Olympic racing, where riders complete a short off-road lap multiple times, racing for position from the start. The Hiyama Kogen course measures 4.2 km per lap. This event marks the first Coupe du Japon round at this venue. This means experienced riders will not have prior race notes from past editions. Toki Sawada described the unfamiliar course as challenging and exciting. Sawada is entered in the XCO Elite Men’s race, scheduled for 13:00, with an awards ceremony following the finish.
