Festiwal Sportowy na Giszowcu 2026

The IV Sport Festival in Giszowiec takes place in Giszowiec Park at ul. Mysłowicka 39C in Katowice. The main event is a 5-kilometer run, complemented by a Nordic walking race and races for the youngest participants. The day is designed for children, adults, and older residents, not exclusively for regular runners. The park setting makes the event contained, with races held alongside skill games, amateur sports training, and food stalls. The city guard assists in running the festival, and prevention specialists organize activities like a police car display, puzzle solving, and traffic-rule lessons for children and teenagers, guided by female officers.
