Sobre esta carrera
The Major Baca Memorial Run begins near the fire station in Chodenice, a district of Bochnia, sending runners along a certified 10 km road course. This international summer race, with over twenty years of history, honors Major Jan Antoni Kaczmarczyk, a local Home Army partisan who died at the hands of the Nazis.
The course is a fast, PZLA-certified 10k, suitable for runners aiming for personal bests. It's a regular fixture for Polish runners. Separate races are held for children, and all finishers get a medal, a commemorative T-shirt, and a recovery meal. Salt Runners Bochnia assists in organizing the event, which serves both a competitive and a local history purpose.
