Uliczny Bieg Sylwestrowy is a New Year's Eve street race in Trzebnica, offering timed 5 km and 10 km runs for participants wishing to end the year on the roads. The event starts at the Gminna Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa im. Dolnośląskich Olimpijczyków and has been held for over 35 years.
The course follows city streets, primarily asphalt with some cobblestone sections, showcasing parts of the Trzebnica Commune instead of a track or park loop. It attracts a diverse field, with recent events seeing over a thousand finishers. A short Family New Year's Eve Run is also part of the day, where each child receives a medal. The race supports a charitable cause, provides medals and a meal at the finish, awards cash prizes to the top runners, and maintains a lighthearted atmosphere with prize drawings and a competition for the most humorous or distinctive costume.
