The North Carolina Seafood Festival Twin Bridges Race starts from the NOAA Laboratory in Beaufort. It feels like a local run with some festival atmosphere. The course goes from Pivers Island toward the Morehead City Bridge, passes through historic downtown Morehead City, and maintains a friendly "morning of fun & exercise" spirit, acknowledging the bridges as part of the race.
The main attraction is the run itself, offering "captivating views over two bridges," including the Atlantic Beach Bridge, and the "scenery of the Crystal Coast" before finishing on the AB Causeway.
