Tri Santa Cruz

Tri Santa Cruz offers a sheltered swim and flat bike and run courses, ideal for first-time racers or those aiming for a personal record. The bike course is fully closed, and both the bike and run routes follow the coastline, providing scenic views. This event has been recognized as one of the best late-season triathlons nationally. Special pricing is available for youth (ages 12-17) and seniors (70+), alongside Clydesdale and Athena categories. A non-competitive Family & Friends wave is also offered. Post-race activities include exploring the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Surfer Museum, or National Marine Sanctuary Center. Participants receive a finisher medal, custom t-shirt, and a post-race lunch with awards.
