Landl-Lauf 2026

Landl-Lauf centers on a one-kilometer circuit of the market square in Neumarkt am Hausruck. The primary individual race is a flat 5 km, consisting of five laps. The team event is a 4 x 1 km relay, with four runners each completing one lap. Participants may enter the solo race, the relay, or both. This format accommodates individuals seeking a brief, intense effort and groups desiring a shared competition. The entire course is compact and straightforward. The same central lap hosts the adult races, while youth events utilize shorter segments with turnaround points or a single lap. Children aged 5-7 compete over 150 m, ages 8-11 over 500 m, and ages 12-15 over 1,000 m. The organizing club, ÖTB Neumarkter Turnverein 1904, draws from a diverse local sports tradition including gymnastics, judo, tennis, and athletics. The event clearly aims to attract a wide range of ages to participate.
