About this race
The Pillerseetal Halbmarathon is a cross-country half marathon of approximately 22 km held annually in Austria’s Pillerseetal on Austrian National Day. It begins in Pillerseetal in the morning, guiding participants around the Buchensteinwand, a prominent local mountain topped by the Jakobskreuz cross overlooking the valley.
The course features a mix of paved and maintained paths, avoiding rugged mountain trails, and includes multiple aid stations.
