About this race

Dee Why Beach starts this run with a salt-air feel, as the route passes many of the Northern Beaches heading toward Newport Beach. Now in its 30th year of raising money for local causes, the Beach2Beach Charity Fun Run feels like a local tradition rather than a large-scale event. The morning event follows the coast, with starts at Dee Why and Warriewood and a finish that stays by the sea. As a Charity Fun Run & Festival, the participants are community-minded: runners, families, Rotary supporters, and those who want their race entry to contribute to good causes beyond the medal.
