Border Bolt Run Festival

The Border Bolt Run Festival starts at Currumbin Creek and heads into the Gold Coast hinterland on the Border Trails, offering a genuine trail-day atmosphere without overwhelming beginners. The shortest route is on pavement, with the next level introducing new trail runners to dirt before the longer courses become more demanding. The longer distances include more trail and hills, featuring twists, turns, and challenging elevation, followed by ocean views. The ultra distance includes the Strawberry Hill climb. The out-and-back format allows participants to pass each other, share encouragement, and gauge the competition, appealing to both newcomers and experienced runners.
