About this race

Searipple Park in Bulgarra serves as the meeting place for a community fun run reflecting a strong Western Australian character: workplace teams, first-timers, fitness enthusiasts, children, friends, and colleagues gather at the start line. Chevron City to Surf for genU is known as “Western Australia’s most iconic community event,” with its core purpose being that every step taken supports individuals with disabilities through equipment, programs, and improved, accessible housing. Anticipate many smiles, large numbers of participants, color, laughter, and a relaxed local atmosphere that makes it straightforward to participate even if running is not typically your preference. The logistical aspects are also designed for participants, featuring entirely closed roads, on-course aid stations providing water, electrolytes, restrooms, and first aid, along with medical support along the route. Upon finishing, participants receive a medal, certificate, event T-shirt, and access to a recovery zone with fruit and electrolytes.
