Cross Country Races*, Enduro*/Social*and Shuttle* Rides

The Pile Rd bottom carpark serves as the starting point for a morning focused on dirt trails on the Mersey side of the valley. The Cross Country Races, Enduro/Social Rides, and Shuttle Rides blend club racing with trail riding, eschewing a polished expo atmosphere. The general feeling is a "morning of fun riding," with club members, non-members, and newcomers gathering at the same trailhead before dispersing into races, social groups, enduro routes, and shuttles. The cross-country event employs a handicapped format, meaning "slower riders will be given a head start" to allow faster participants to catch up. Children have their own event, which includes a "Balance Bike race." The later ride proceeds from Pile Rd towards Honeymoon Pool, traversing the "Pile Rd and Honeymoon Pool trails." Boylans, Grizzlies, Goat, and Cash Out are all included in the route. A simple finish area offers a free sausage sizzle and drinks afterward.
