About this race
The Casey Fields Criterium circuit is the main attraction: a completely closed cycling facility designed for winter crit racing, free from traffic or road furniture. The Cupra Brighton Winter Criterium Series @ Casey Fields offers a practical weekly racing opportunity during the colder months. It includes grades from Novice up to A, and riders from any club are welcome with a current AusCycling licence.
Racing on the Casey Fields Crit Circuit is short and controlled, with each grade completing a set time plus one lap. The Novice grade is specifically a "Race simulation for newer riders," providing a good environment to learn bunch riding skills. Sharper grades still offer competitive racing within a very safe setting. Food and drinks will be available for participants and spectators, and prizes are awarded weekly.
