Dubbo Stampede Running Festival

The Dubbo Stampede Running Festival is an annual event held in Dubbo, New South Wales, starting at Ollie Robbins Oval near the Macquarie River. It features certified courses in six distances: the Meerkat Mile for children, the 1 km Wallaby Wheel, Walk and Run, the 5.3 km Dingo Dash, 10 km Cheetah Chase, 21.1 km Zebra Zoom, and 42.2 km Rhino Ramble. The longer races traverse Taronga Western Plains Zoo, a distinctive element for the half marathon and marathon. Shorter courses follow the river trails. All participants, whether running, walking, or using wheels, conclude at Ollie Robbins Oval, reflecting the festival's "runwalkwheel" ethos.
