Edgell Bathurst Jog 2026

The Edgell Bathurst Jog is a 7.5 km community fun run in Bathurst, New South Wales, held each September. It begins and ends at the Bathurst Court House, providing a central town location instead of a distant start. The run is intended for everyday runners, walkers, families, and individuals trying an organized event, not solely club athletes focused on times. The jog started in 1976 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Edgell organisation. It is noted as the largest fun run in regional New South Wales. The course was formerly 8 km but was reduced to 7.5 km for a safer crossing of the Great Western Highway. Participants finishing within 90 minutes are eligible for category and draw prizes, maintaining a mild competitive element while preserving the community atmosphere.
