Freycinet Circuits Trail Run
Sunday, June 21, 2026 · Hawksnest Cove, Australia
About this race
The Wineglass Bay Carpark places you directly within Freycinet National Park. The Freycinet Circuits Trail Run immediately ventures across the Freycinet Peninsula, offering a direct immersion rather than a gradual introduction. This is coastal trail running with a challenge: Wineglass Bay, Hazards Beach, Mt Graham, and Cooks Beach contribute to a significant event feel, while the trails maintain their demanding nature from the start.
The course proceeds clockwise on rugged coastal tracks, marked by cairns in places, winding through untouched bushland and past several unspoiled beaches. Anticipate stunning coastal vistas alongside technical and uneven terrain underfoot, particularly on the complete Mt Graham loop. It attracts seasoned runners seeking a more demanding, self-sufficient run, while the shorter Hazards route provides novice trail runners a genuine Freycinet experience without the full challenge.
