Harrietville Half Marathon

From Bright through the Ovens Valley to the mountain village finish at Tavare Park, this is a "spectacular point-to-point half marathon" with a very local feel. The Harrietville Half Marathon is organized by a local running group, with proceeds supporting Harrietville Primary School and a local youth group, making it feel more like a community run than a polished event. The course follows the valley floor beside the Ovens River, mostly flat to gently undulating, past Stony Creek Fish Farm and onto the Great Valley Trail under Mt Feathertop.
