Hells Bells 24 Hour Adventure Race 2026

QCCC Mapleton is situated in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, with the course unfolding through Queensland's wilderness instead of a confined, marked loop. Hells Bells 24 Hour Adventure Race, Australia's longest-running 24-hour adventure race, has challenged racers since 2004, pushing them to their limits over a full day and night. Expect difficult terrain and significant problem-solving. Teams transition between trekking, mountain biking, and kayaking while navigating to checkpoints, meaning physical endurance and navigation skills are as crucial as speed. Competitors travel from across Australia and overseas for the full Hells Bells challenge. The slightly more accessible Fairy Bells route offers the same adventure-race spirit with a reduced scope.
