The Noosa Breakfast Fun Run is a 5km beachside run at Noosa Main Beach in Noosa Heads, Queensland, held as part of the Noosa Triathlon & Multisport Festival. It begins early in the morning, with check-in at the Noosa Heads Surf Club, and is open to all ages. Children 12 and under may participate, but they must be registered and accompanied by a registered adult for the entire run. The atmosphere is relaxed: participants are encouraged to walk, run, or dance the course rather than aim for a personal best.
The route commences near the Surf Club, proceeds along Park Road, crosses the National Park, and returns via the boardwalk to Noosa Main Beach. Runners continue towards the river mouth before finishing along the sand back at the Surf Club, with an aid station positioned approximately halfway. Pink attire is a feature of the event, with participants encouraged to wear pink to support breast cancer fundraising through organizations such as the McGrath Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The participants can include families, casual runners, walkers, and individuals sharing the course with some of Australia’s elite athletes during Noosa’s broader sporting week.
