The Rail Trail Ride 2018 takes place during the 26th season of the Hiawatha Scenic Mountain Bike Trails, featuring a practical trail-town atmosphere where runners, riders, bicyclists, guests, and e-bike users utilize the same corridor at separate times. The run follows an out-and-back course from East Portal, passing through the tunnel towards the Taft trailhead on the Hiawatha route. Participants should bring a light and anticipate running conditions typical of a rail trail, not a polished road race.
