Raine & Horne City to Casino Fun Run and Walk 2026

The Raine & Horne City to Casino Fun Run and Walk, Tasmania's oldest event of its kind, features three starts near Hobart converging at the Arena finish line. The shortest is a 2.7 km children's run for those 12 and under, beginning opposite the Supreme Court steps in Salamanca Place; adults may participate only when accompanying children. The 7 km option starts at Cornelian Bay, near the playground, suitable for runners and walkers. The 12 km event is a run for participants aged 12 and older. The morning's starts are staggered between approximately 7:55 and 8:10 am, with the field expanding from Salamanca Place, Cornelian Bay, and the Arena area before all participants finish at the Arena. The 7 km participants start together, with runners positioned at the front and walkers behind; runners may walk if necessary, but those entered in the walk are asked to remain walking. The 12 km race permits brief walk breaks but is not open to walkers.
