2027 TAC People's Ride

The 2027 TAC People's Ride allows participants to ride with Australian Tour de France champion Cadel Evans through the Geelong and Surf Coast region. The event occurs on the weekend of the Mapei Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, using the same course as the professional cyclists. The ride begins in Geelong, passes through Barwon Heads and Thirteenth Beach, and finishes in Torquay. Two distances are offered: The Classic Ride (114km) for experienced riders, featuring distance, climbs, and windy roads, and The Hometown Ride (63km) for beginner and intermediate riders, a flatter scenic option. Both rides start and finish in Geelong. The Classic Ride includes the Challambra Climb, while the Hometown Ride does not. Registration includes a Santini Jersey.
