Waterous Trail On Foot 2026

Waterous Trail On Foot is Western Australia's original 100-mile trail ultra, held at Nanga Bush Camp, approximately 10 minutes south of Dwellingup. The race provides 100 mile, 50 mile, and 50 km distances, allowing participants to choose between a long forest ultra or the full hundred-mile challenge. Established in 2013, it developed within the tall timber region of Western Australia's South West. The course incorporates trails near Dwellingup and parts of the Munda Biddi network, with all distances structured around three demanding out-and-back sections. Runners navigate jarrah and marri forests, encountering technical single track, undulating climbs, and extended quiet bushland stretches. Race director David Kennedy is integral to its narrative, and a past winner, Sergio Gustinetti, highlighted the volunteers as the day's peak, describing them as the cohesive element of the trail community.
