10 km Garmin run

Knyaz Alexander I Square places you in the center of the capital’s historic streets, with the National Art Gallery behind the start and Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard ahead. The 10 km Garmin run is the shorter road-race portion of the Wizz Air Sofia Marathon, conducted under WA and Bulgarian athletics rules. It has the structure and timing of a formal city marathon day, not a casual park run. The course consists of two laps: National Art Gallery, Tsar Osvoboditel, Knyaginya Maria Luiza, Lion’s Bridge, Vitosha Boulevard, Alabin, Gurko, Rakovski, Vasil Levski, Oborishte, Alexander Nevsky Square, then back toward the gallery finish. Expect a chip-timed bib, drinks on the course, a finisher medal, and an online participation certificate with your race result afterward.
