42 км ASICS – Маратон – София маратон 2026

The 2026 edition of the 42 km ASICS – Marathon starts and finishes at the National Art Gallery on Knyaz Alexander I Square. The asphalt route follows Sofia's main boulevards and squares, passing city landmarks such as Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd., Knyaginya Maria Luisa Blvd., and Lavov Most. The course includes straight sections, turnarounds, and a long stretch toward the Lyulin tunnel and back. The route continues along Tsaritsa Yoanna Blvd., then returns via Vitosha Blvd., Alabin St., Gurko St., and Rakovski St. A second section crosses Vasil Levski Blvd. and loops over Chavdar Bridge toward Vladimir Vazov Blvd. and Todorini Kukli St., before finishing near Oborishte St. and Alexander Nevsky Square. Participants receive a bib and chip and acknowledge they run at their own responsibility and risk.
