Great Big Cookie Run 2026

The Great Big Cookie Run is Run Ottawa’s final major race of the year, located at Lansdowne Park on Marché Way in Ottawa. This is a short, family-friendly event featuring a 5K and a Kids 1K. Participants can run, walk, or roll. The timing near Halloween includes a costume contest with prizes for those who dress up. The course travels through central Ottawa, starting at Lansdowne Park. Girl Guide Cookies will be distributed along the course and at the finish line. All finishers receive a medal, a personalized race bib, professional chip timing, and post-race refreshments. The race supports local Girl Guides and has been a fixture on the Ottawa running calendar for 20 years, integrating the cookies as a core part of the event’s identity.
