Junior cup Vojenské pojišťovny 2026

The Junior cup Vojenské pojišťovny is a children's mountain bike race held in Šimkovy sady, a park in central Hradec Králové. Taking place in late summer, this is the event's eighth year. It offers young riders two race formats on the same day: a morning time trial and a midday mass-start endurance race. The time trial is optional, but its results determine the starting order for the main race; children who do not participate will start after those who did. The course consists of paved park paths and grass, with lap lengths of 1.2 km or 2.2 km based on age group. The youngest participants use 200 meters on balance bikes or run bikes, while older categories can compete for up to 11 km in the main event. The time trial covers one 2.2 km lap, begins at 30-second intervals from youngest to oldest, and has a 200-rider limit. All finishers in the main race earn an original medal, time-trial participants receive a small gift, and the top three in each category are awarded prizes if present.
