Zlínská 50

Zlínská 50 is a mountain bike race held at Malenovice Castle in Zlín. The start, finish, registration, and prize ceremony all take place within the castle grounds. The race is traditionally held near the end of the racing season and features two routes: a 46 km main course with 1,150 m of elevation gain, and a 16 km shorter course with 380 m of elevation gain. The longer course is intended for experienced cyclists, while the shorter route is suitable for hobby riders, families, and those seeking a more relaxed ride. The course winds through the forests above Zlín, ascends to the Lighthouse on Tlustá hora, and incorporates rideable singletrack sections. The event attracts a diverse cycling community, not solely focused on competitive results, and its castle location provides a distinctive setting compared to typical sports venue starts.
