About this race
The Steinhart500 is a climate-neutral running event with five distances: 7, 14, 28, 42, and 56 km. Its marathon course is officially measured, so marathon results can count for rankings and best lists.
The race offsets CO2 by regularly planting Steinhart500 trees, and marathon runners pass some of those trees on the course. There is no half marathon because the route layout does not allow it, so the 28 km race fills that middle step for runners building toward a marathon. A Flex Ticket gives runners room to switch plans if the day is not going well.
