About this race

ARTOUR begins at the Radrennbahn Heidenau, near Dresden, offering road cyclists a choice between a standard RTF ride and a 200-kilometer Radmarathon. The RTF is designed for various legs and schedules: 35 km with approximately 450 meters of elevation gain, 65 km with approximately 920 meters, or 100 km with approximately 1,560 meters. Riders depart in the morning, routes are clearly marked, and children up to 14 ride for free when registered. The shorter route goes through Dohna and Röhrsdorf to Reinhardtsgrimma, while the 65 km version extends to Oberfrauendorf and Hirschsprung. The 100 km option includes a section near the Czech border via Geising, Fürstenwalde, and Liebenau. The 200 km marathon follows the Lockwitztal to Altenberg before looping through the Osterzgebirge and Sächsische Schweiz. ARTOUR’s motto is “Regional genießen,” and its food stops feature only regional products. The event is organized by Förderverein Radsport e.V. and is part of the German Cycling Radmarathon-Cup.
