RiderMan 2026

FRI, September 4, 2026 · Bad Dürrheim/ Schwarzwald , Germany

About this race

RiderMan is a three-stage amateur road cycling race held in Bad Durrheim, Germany's Black Forest, typically over a September weekend. It is designed for everyday riders, not just professionals, featuring daily results and an overall ranking for the entire event. The race begins with a short individual time trial, followed by two hilly road stages, requiring riders to possess multiple strengths. The first time trial covers 17.20 km with 285 meters of elevation gain. The subsequent road stages are 110.50 km and 90.80 km, each with over 1,200 meters of climbing. RiderMan is one of southern Germany's prominent mass-participation cycling events, boasting over twenty-five years of history. One previous edition was halted due to a significant pile-up on a rural road between Bad Durrheim and Biesingen. The incident involved a crash on a left-hand bend, causing a chain reaction of falls. Approximately 1,200 participants were involved, resulting in 70 injuries and the deployment of four rescue helicopters.
