38. Breunaer Volkslauf mit 21,1km Malsburglauf 2026

The Breunaer Malsburglauf, a DLV-approved running event, takes place at the Breuna sports field in Hesse. It offers races from 400 meters to a 21.1 km half marathon, alongside 5 km and 10 km Nordic Walking options. This setup caters to children, walkers, local club runners, and half marathon participants, not just specialists. The children's courses follow flat or nearly flat forest paths starting and ending at the sports field. The 5.2 km and 10 km races consist of loops on shaded forest tracks with minor inclines. The half marathon route is approximately 80 percent shaded forest path and 20 percent paved field path. Water stations are available on the longer routes, with a mineral drink at the finish. The sports house near the start/finish provides showers and changing facilities. Local food options, including coffee, cake, grilled items, and soft drinks, are available post-race. All children receive participation certificates. Trophies, prizes, and certificates are awarded for the 5.2 km, 10 km, and half marathon events, including team awards for the top three women's and men's half marathon teams.
