5. LSG-Waldauer-Wiesen-Lauf 2026

The LSG-Waldauer-Wiesen-Lauf is an evening fun run held at Sportplatz Waldauer Wiesen in Kassel. Starts range from the 500 m Bambini race to the 18 km run. It is part of the Nordhessencup-Serie and provides multiple distances for various ages: 500 m within the stadium, 1,000 m for students, 5 km, 9.5 km, and 18 km. The shorter children’s races begin first, with the longer runs commencing in the early evening. The 5 km route is an out-and-back course. The 9.5 km run encircles the Bugasee and includes a Wahlebach loop. The 18 km race covers the Bugasee and Wahlebach course twice, offering participants a longer iteration of the same local route. The event maintains a practical setup, featuring marked courses, two water stations, catering, childcare, and online registration via the event portal. Walking is no longer a distinct category, but participants can walk the 5 km or 9.5 km distances.
